It’s Already Getting Better!

You’re going to go through tough times – that’s life. But I say, ‘Nothing happens to you, it happens for you.’ See the positive in negative events. – Joel Osteen

Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

I love this quote by Pastor Joel Osteen!  We often times, look at difficulties as attacks.  We focus on the negative aspects and then follow the downward turn of now figuring out how to come out of the situation.  What if we paused and sought God on the situation.  Ask Him, what are you saying in this situation?  What is the purpose of this?  How do you want me to move in this situation?  Let me tell you all, the word of God is true!  If we apply it to our lives it works out every time!  Not some times…every time!

Now its understood that this isn’t common practice for most people but it should be common practice if you are called of God.  Yes, its a work in getting use to because we were use to handling everything on our own working in our own intellect when we were in the world.  But now if you are called of God then the way you handle situations and life is changed.  Every time I put the scripture to application in my life I am WOWed!  Not sure why because I should expect God to work the miraculous in my life but its still so magnificent to see God in action!

Although I’m always facing some type of challenge…LOL glory to God!  And I’m always walking in a new testimony…Glory to God!  I’ve experienced things which God moved in the miraculous that blew me away!  God is soooo faithful family!  I wish all of you reading this would just muster up the faith to step out and try Him at His Word!  My household…well really my entire Worldwide Deliverance Ministries family has been in a season of going through…it’s been challenge after challenge…a test in every aspect of this walk of faith.  And we each have been sharing weekly testimonies of how God delivered and gave favor in every single circumstance!  Everything God has allowed to come into our lives has been to strengthen…enlighten…educate…bring deliverance…healing…really this list can go on and on.  But just as the Joel Osteen quote said…the circumstances happened for us for the purpose of elevation and growth in our relationship with God.  And the thing that’s just as awesome, God gives you an awesome testimony in it.  In this season, I’ve been so excited…although the trials have been hard, but the Spirit of the Lord keeps speaking to me saying “it will all be so worth it, hang on daughter!”  And when I can’t encourage myself in the Lord, He sends my children to speak a Word into my spirit!  Wow!  Out of the mouth of babes, our children may at times only repeat the things they hear in church and not have full comprehension of it but let them continue to speak the Word…it’s being released into the atmosphere and moving things in the heavenlies.  My children quote scripture, and it makes my spirit leap!  I then am immediately encouraged because I say if these children hold on to the Word of God and believe His promises who am I to doubt?  One day, my son spoke a Word into my spirit that brought me so much joy!  And then without realizing it immediately, the Word was manifested!  God released and blessed us in what we were dealing with, and we both stood there like whoa…LOL

God’s Word tells us not to be dismayed.  Isaiah 41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Did you catch it?  He will hold you up!

John 16:33 tells us, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

And this is one of my favorite scriptures, James 1:3-4 tells us, “For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

If you are called and have confessed Jesus as Lord of your life, these are all promises to you.  God will give you peace…God will give you strength…God will make you an over comer…God completes you!!!

We are to lack nothing family!!!  If God the creator of the universe is our provision we then do not walk in lack in any area of our lives!  Let me tell you family, every situation that has come up in my life, and Ive asked God to work the situation out for my good, He has done just that!  When I needed finances to pay something, He brought it.  When I needed favor in a situation, He provided it.  When I felt fear, He gave me peace.  When I was angry, He kept me.  Whats the key?  Seeking God!  When I sought God He showed up.  Its when I did things on my own and moved out of Gods will is when I fell on my face…But our God is so awesome…He picked me up, He brushed me off, He placed my feet on solid ground!  Oh Yes!  God never fails!!  I’m gonna shout this evening because God has been so good…He has been sooo faithful…He has been forever present in my life!

For those of you reading this that are out of relationship with God, you have been in a backslidden state, or you’ve been attending church but haven’t given God your yes.  I invite you to do so right now!  I believe there are many of you that have been going through various challenges and are at a point of not knowing what else to try…where else to go…frustrated..hurt..lost!  God should be your first go to.  Come Him today.  Aren’t you ready to experience this joy you hear people like me talking about?  Aren’t you ready to experience this love that no earthly man can give?  Aren’t you ready to experience life to its fullest?  Aren’t you ready to live a life of abundance?  Aren’t you tired of living in lack?  Make the following confession…

Jesus, I recognize the fact that I’m a sinner.  I know that I can do nothing outside of you.  Ive tried and failed and tried and failed.  Ive felt the tugging on my heart for something greater that is missing from my life.  I realize today that Ive been missing relationship with you.  I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, He was sent to earth to redeem me of my sins, He died, went to hell and took the keys of death and is now risen, in Heaven making intercession on my behalf.  Today, in this moment, I surrender myself to you God.  Take this broken vessel, transform me…make me new…give me a clean heart and a renewed mind.  Take away my dirty linens, wash me and make me whole.  Bless me with the gift of your Holy Spirit so that I may walk in the fruits thereof.  That I may do what is right and pleasing in your sight.  All these things I ask in Jesus name, Amen.

If you have made this confession from your heart and out of your mouth.  You are now saved.  The next step is to connect with a bible teaching worship center or you need instruction in how to life the life.  Opposition will come, being in the fellowship of other believers and under the covering of spiritual leadership will give you what you need to be successful in this walk.  I recommend getting a prayer partner, someone to hold you accountable.  Someone to encourage you and pray with you.

Meditation verse – Acts 2:36-41 “Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”  37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Blessings!!
