Are you living your best blessed life?

Strong plant roots have the power to break through the concrete and building foundations.  These are typically seasoned plants, their roots travel far in length and press deep into the earth.  Seasoned believers, those that have not only followed Christ but have made Him Lord of their lives for a considerable amount of time, those that have grown in Christ, matured in their spiritual walk, and operating in their spiritual gifts and calling.  These seasoned believers should display spiritual roots like the seasoned plants.  Their spiritual roots should be strong, firm, stretched out, and running deep into the living waters found in Jesus Christ.

Here are some scriptures on being rooted in God…..

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (ESV) tells us, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Psalm 1:3 (ESV) “He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

Hebrews 12:15 (ESV) “See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled”

Mark 4:17 (ESV) “And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away.”

Are you rooted in God?  How deep do your roots go?  How long do your roots spread?  Are your roots withered and brittle?  Or are they saturated and strong?  Are they thick and durable able to bear the weight of life?  Or are they thin and weak barely able to support life?  Can your roots breakthrough the hard surface of the world in order to produce change?

Discipleship – Matthew 28:28-20 (MSG) “Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”

What drives you?  Are you moved by the continuous wind of change that blows here and there in the world?  Or are your intentions set on the Will of God?

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (ESV) tells us, “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. “

Ephesians 5:11-12 (ESV) also says, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.”

If we remain rooted in God and we drink from the well that never runs dry and eat of the bread of life continuously we will grow, we will be able to stretch forth, and run deep into the things of God.  We will experience the miraculous, walk-in signs and wonders.  This is what causes the ground to break; this is what brings shifts and change in the world that is refrained!  Allow God to fulfill His perfect will in your life and break ground around this nation!
