Transcend

An aurora accents Earth's atmospheric glow underneath a starry sky

Great dreams of great dreamers are always transcended. – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

Job 36:27-28 “For he draws up the drops of water; they distill his mist in rain, which the skies pour down and drop on mankind abundantly.”

The definition of transcend, according to Merriam-Webster, is go beyond the range or limits of (something abstract, typically a conceptual field or division).  To surpass, exceed, beat, cap, tower above, outdo, outclass, outstrip, leave behind, outshine, eclipse.

What would it be like to go beyond the limits of our own understanding and tap into the spiritual things of God?

According to Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”

Have you ever taken a moment to meditate on this scripture?  We live in a finite world; everything has a beginning and an ending.  But when we are dealing with the things of God, we are tapping into the spiritual and we cross over into the infinite

There is not cap or ceiling we can put on God!  God IS Able in every capacity to do EXCEEDINGLY – definition – go beyond what is allowed or stipulated by!

Come on and get this my readers!!!

ABUNDANTLY – definition – having plenty of something.

ABOVE – definition – an extended space over and not touching.

ALL – definition – the whole amount, quantity, or extent of.

Now let’s put this into application.  Name one thing that you would like to see the Lord manifest in your life.  (Get a pen and paper)

Now we know that scripture tells us the following about the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”

Hebrews 4:12 ” For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Proverbs 30:5 “Every word of God proves true”

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

So, If the Word of God is alive and brings all truth. We must believe EVERY word in the bible must be fulfilled according to its self!

God has made many promises in the bible.  Why do you think so many believers are not receiving the promises?  Why is there no manifestation of this exceedingly, abundantly, above all move of God?

Well….we tend to overlook the final part of that scripture that says “according to the power that works in us”

What power is that?  The power of the Holy Spirit!

If we don’t allow for the Holy Spirit to have free reign in our lives, then we have no manifested fruit or works in our lives.

1 John 4:4 says, “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”

What spirit is the Apostle John referring? The Holy Spirit. He is the GREATER ONE that dwells inside every believer. So, how do we activate this power?  By yielding to the Holy Spirit! BY FAITH!! and STANDING on God’s Word.  You must speak the Word of God to your situation.  Your speaking activates Gods word, then by faith we believe that God is ABLE according to Ephesians 3:20.

What it boils down to family, is that we need to work the Word. We tend to allow this awesome weapon of the Bible just remain as words on a page.  The Word of God is ALIVE.  It’s a living Word and the best arsenal we could ever have in our possession.

Let’s Work It!  Let’s transcend our thinking, our beliefs, our lives by trusting the plans and purposes God has for every believer. That’s you and me! Dream BIG and when you don’t think you can dream any bigger, ask God to break the limitations so you can go even greater!

Meditation verse – Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”

Blessings!!
