Speak Over Your Day!

Rating: 1 out of 5.

In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact. – Les Brown

Wow!  What a statement.  Could you imagine the positive impact you could make if you utilized half of those minutes to encourage or perform an act of kindness to those you encounter in your day?

Philippians 4:8 tells us, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

If our minds are focused on the positive, then we produce positive things. I often think of this on Monday’s.  I see so many people throughout the day that are somber, disheveled, down-hearted, unresponsive, de-energized.  Just because its Monday!  On Sunday they have already placed in their mind that Monday is going to be a horrible day.  So, they go to bed with that intend and wake feeling horrible and have to put forth extra effort to maintain their daily routine.

The word positive is defined as; A good, affirmative, or constructive quality or attribute. with no possibility of doubt; clear and definite.

I challenge you to try an experiment.  Speak positive affirmations about Monday on Sunday evening before bed and in the morning before you start your day.  For example, Tomorrow I will awaken refreshed in my mind, body and spirit.  The favor of the Lord rests upon me and I decree and declare that my day is blessed, and I will be productive in my assignments, there will be no challenge to come upon me that I cannot overcome.  I decree and declare that I walk in the blessed assurance that my God has made me complete and prosperous.  I am at peace in every situation and circumstance for God has given me favor in all things.  I walk in truth, honor, justification, purity, love and excellence.  I praise God for His grace and mercy this is new every day.  I praise God for the newness of life and all that this day will bring.

I guarantee that when you speak over your day that heaviness will be lifted, you will notice a pep in your step.  As instructed in Philippians 4:8 think on the things of God and you will see your perspective change. Your mindset will change.  You will love the new you!

Romans 12:2 tells us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

We are to be catalyst for change.  We are to let the light of Christ shine in us on us and through us to draw those that are hurt, lost, discouraged, unloved….to Christ.

1 Timothy 2:3-6 tells us, “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Looking for positive change?  Seek God…decree and declare His Word over your life!!!

Meditation verse – Romans 10:14-15 “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Blessings!!
